the Shoe StorEASE newsletter (Substack)

Our newsletter, Shoe StorEASE, is published and delivered through Substack, Inc., an independent company that is not owned or controlled by the Cinderella-System™. When you enter your email in a sign-up box on this site, you are taken to our Substack page to finish subscribing. This website itself does not store your email address.

• You agree to Substack's rules, not just ours. Subscribing happens on Substack, and by subscribing you agree to Substack's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Please read them before you subscribe. If you don't agree with them, please don't subscribe.
• Substack handles your data under its own policies. Substack collects, stores, and protects your subscription information under policies we don't write or control. Questions about how Substack handles your data should go to Substack.
• How we use it. As the newsletter's publisher, we can see subscribers' email addresses and basic subscription details in our Substack account. We use them only to send you Shoe StorEASE and to reply if you contact us. We will never sell, rent, or trade your information, and we will not knowingly use it for any other purpose without your permission.
• Leaving is easy. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every newsletter or through your Substack account settings.

free guides (Kit)

Our free PDF guides are delivered by email through Kit (Kit.com, formerly ConvertKit), an independent company that is not owned or controlled by the Cinderella-System™. When you request a free guide from a link on this site or in one of our YouTube videos, you enter your email on our Kit sign-up page, and Kit emails you the guide. This website itself does not store your email address.

• You agree to Kit's rules, not just ours. By signing up, you agree to Kit's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Please read them before you sign up. If you don't agree with them, please don't sign up.
• Kit handles your data under its own policies. Kit collects, stores, and protects your email address and sign-up details under policies we don't write or control. Questions about how Kit handles your data should go to Kit.
• How we use it. We can see the email addresses of people who request a guide in our Kit account. We use them to send you the guide you asked for and, as the sign-up page says, occasional foot and shoe tips. We will never sell, rent, or trade your information, and we will not add you to the Shoe StorEASE newsletter unless you subscribe to it yourself.
• Leaving is easy. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email from Kit.

contact messages

When you use our contact page, the name, email, and message you send are delivered to us through Netlify, the company that hosts this website. We use them only to reply to you. Please don't send personal health details. This site provides general education only and can't give individual medical advice.

other services this site relies on

• Netlify hosts this website. Like most website hosts, it may automatically record basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to keep the site running and secure.
• Google Fonts supplies the site's lettering, so your browser connects to Google when a page loads.
• Links to YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Substack, and Kit take you to those companies' websites, which have their own privacy policies.

Each of these companies is independent and responsible for its own practices.

what we don't do

• We don't sell, rent, or trade your information.
• We don't collect health information through this site.
• We don't use advertising trackers or tracking cookies. The site only remembers, inside your own browser, whether you've already seen the newsletter pop-up so it doesn't keep appearing.

things outside our control

We choose reputable services and take reasonable care with the information we receive, but no website, email service, or online platform can guarantee perfect security. We do not own, operate, or control Substack, Kit, Netlify, Google, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, or any other outside service, and we are not responsible for their data practices, security incidents, outages, errors, or policy changes. If one of these services has a problem, questions or claims about it should be directed to that company. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Cinderella-System™ and its owner are not liable for any loss or harm caused by an outside service's actions or failures, or by events beyond our reasonable control.

This site and newsletter are intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13, and Substack and Kit set their own minimum ages for subscribers.

changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or the services we use change. The date below shows when it was last revised. If you keep using the site after a change, the updated policy applies.

questions or removing your information

Email cinderellasystemai@gmail.com or use the contact page. We're happy to explain anything here, and we'll delete any contact message or other information we hold about you on request. To remove your newsletter subscription, unsubscribe from any Shoe StorEASE email. To stop emails about our free guides, unsubscribe from any email sent through Kit.
